Jennifer Carlo is a bilingual (English–Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Director dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families through life transitions and complex emotional challenges. She provides individual, family, group, and couples therapy, with specialized experience in adolescent mental health, including anxiety, depression, substance use, learning disabilities, and family conflict related to divorce or custody matters.
As a Florida-approved Qualified Supervisor, Jennifer offers clinical supervision and professional mentoring to registered interns and early-career clinicians, promoting ethical, competent, and effective clinical practice. She is also a qualified Parenting Coordinator, working collaboratively with separating or divorcing parents to reduce conflict, improve communication, and develop child-centered co-parenting plans that support healthy emotional development.
Jennifer’s background as a former special education teacher enhances her ability to support families raising children with special needs, learning differences, and developmental challenges. She is deeply committed to psychoeducation and resource-based care, empowering clients with knowledge, tools, and community supports to make informed decisions.
Jennifer takes a collaborative, culturally responsive, and individualized approach to therapy, helping clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
