Hanna Maslawi, MSW, RCSWI
Therapist; Anxiety, Trauma & PTSD
I am a mental health counselor who believes that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood—not just for the challenges they face, but for the person they are becoming. With more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field in New York and Florida, my background spans counseling, group facilitation, crisis intervention, acute psychiatric care, and education. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of meeting each person where they are, honoring their unique story, and recognizing their capacity for growth. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where children, adolescents, and adults feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their emotions, and discovering their strengths. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD, while also supporting those facing life transitions, relationship difficulties, or everyday stress. As a bilingual counselor fluent in English and Hebrew, I value meaningful connection and culturally responsive care that honors each person's background and experiences. My therapeutic approach integrates CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, person-centered, and solution-focused approaches, tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Whether you are working through painful experiences, feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and discover new possibilities. I believe therapy isn't about fixing people; it's about helping them better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and develop the tools to move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion. My goal is to help every client feel supported in their journey toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
