Clinical Director and PSR Program Director
Giliana Pena serves as PSR Clinical Director at Arc Mental Health, where she oversees the Psycho-Social Rehabilitation program, coordinates a multidisciplinary clinical team, and ensures treatment planning and documentation meet regulatory and ethical standards.
Giliana earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Rafael Urdaneta University in Venezuela and her Master of Social Work, with a focus in Clinical Social Work, from Ana G. Méndez University. Early in her career, she worked as a psychologist in Venezuela, conducting psychological evaluations for the Supreme Court of Children & Adolescents and assessing children and adolescents for the Niños del Sol Foundation.
Since relocating to South Florida, Giliana has built a career centered on comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, and clinical supervision. She has particular depth in geriatric mental health, having spent close to five years providing psychotherapy to seniors in independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities — including clients with dementia-related impairments — through roles at Memory Training Centers of Florida, Alasake Mental Health Services, and Excellent Therapy Medical Center. She has also served in clinician and supervisory roles at Olympus Healthcare Services and Family Social Services, where she provided case review and clinical guidance to fellow mental health professionals, and delivered parenting training and support to caregivers of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Giliana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida, a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Venezuelan Federation of Psychologists (FVP), and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
